Public Desire - Brand Research

Public Desire is an online footwear brand that exclusively produces womens shoes - particularly high-heels for special occasions.

The brand was launched by Qasiam Akhlaq (managing director) and his three brothers in 2014. Previously, the brothers sold footwear in a handful of their own stores, but required brand value in order for their business to expand and Public Desire was the answer.

The Public Desire brand is now internationally known for selling shoes influenced by celebrity styles (specifically the Kardashian/Jenner family) at high street prices.

Qasiam Akhlaq quoted in an interview with Drapers magazine:

“For us, it’s not about the money, it’s about bringing things first.”
