For this Illustrator task we had to choose an object to practice outlining it using the pen tool. I decided to trace an outline drawing of Micheal Jackson - as I have used Illustrator before and wanted to challenge myself.

After completing the outline we had to color the image using the outline and fill tool. To make sure the fill was in the section I wanted it I had to ensure that all the paths were closed in the right places.

When I had colored all sections of the image I contemplated adding more details using the pen tool, however I actually really liked how the illustration turned out with the simplicity and minimalism of the image with just the flat vector shapes.
